Annual award presentations are held. Each honoree, or “laureate,” receives a diploma, a green gold medal, and a monetary prize in addition to the other awards. The Nobel Prize was given out in cash in 2021 at a cost of 10,000,000 SEK. The Nobel Peace Prize, however, may be given to organizations with more than three members. Prizes may not be shared by more than three recipients. Even though the Nobel Prize is not given posthumously, it is delivered to the winner who passes away before receiving it.
