The HSBC full form is Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited. On March 3, 1865, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited began operations. A month later, Shanghai followed. The first locally held bank to follow Scottish banking principles was this one. HSBC had operations in seven nations in Asia, Europe, and North America by 1875.
